Nick van de Wall, who is also know as Afrojack, arose from being a little 11 year old making music in his little home in the Dirty Dutch to practically headlining huge events such as EDC this past June.  Afrojack is perhaps one of the most well known men in the Electronic music industry as of now and working with David Guetta.  He made his first real track in 2007 and is now making some of the best and most catchy songs out.

His best and most popular songs consist of Bangduck, No Beef, Zeggie, Quacky, Louder Than Words and perhaps my favorite song and his newest, Take Over Control.  Afrojack does not only make his own personal music but also produces and makes amazing remixes to songs also.  One of the main reasons why everybody loves this man’s music is because of his unique sound.  I really cannot describe it but once you listen to his work and become familiar with it, you can tell whenever he is in a song or made it.

I have been lucky enough to see Afrojack perform twice, both days at the Electric Daisy Carnival, and his set was quite possibly the best of the night.  What I loved about it, and so did the rest of the 100,000 people watching him on main stage, was how he gets the crowd involves.  On Saturdays performance he had Lil’ Jon come up and get on stage with him and get everybody pumped up and excited.  Afrojack has not only performed at EDC but he has also done some other huge events like ULTRAin March and is doing Voodoo Experience in New Orleans this Halloween.  Luckily for us, there have been rumors that he will play at this year’s Coachella Music Festival in April!
