Once a tiny one-day festival, Hard has evolved into a huge enterprise that puts on gigs all across North America and even has their own annual cruise. This summer the fifth annual HARD Summer Music Festival returns to the Los Angeles State Historic Park and for the occasion they’ve perhaps produced their best lineup to date. With artists ranging from heavy dub, house, and indie this year’s lineup boasts act such as Skrillex, Nero, Bloc Party, Miike Snow, Boys Noize, A-trak, Datsik, 12th Planet, Dillon Francis, and many more. Tickets for the two-day festival are currently $119 but they will escalate to $149 so act quickly.
The full lineup also features DJ sets from Chromeo, The Bloody Beetroots, Squarepusher, Magnetic Man, Claude Von Stroke, Little Dragon, Erol Alkan, aarabMUZIK, Danny Brown, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, Action Bronson, John Talabot, 12th Planet, Gaslamp Killer, Gesaffelstein, Brodinski, Fake Blood, and Bootsy Collins and the Funky Unity Band.
